Each year I travel to a variety of college campuses, from the large State Flagship to the small, Liberal Arts school.
This affords me the opportunity to roam the campuses, meet admissions and financial aid staff and professors, and truly put myself in the shoes of the students who attend. It is because of these visits, that I am able to bring home to my students, a genuine description and in-depth details about these amazing schools. I typically visit 20-30 schools per year.
Shelly is married to the man of her dreams and they have three daughters. Chelsea (25) is a graduate of DU, studied a semester at Maastricht University in the Netherlands, and after a year working in Korea is now happily employed in Denver. Oh, and she’s off her parent’s payroll.
By the way, she graduated early (yes, it can be done). Madeline (22) is a recent CU Boulder grad, with a major in Psychology, pre-med track and a business minor. She spent a semester studying at the University of Botswana and will soon be applying to Occupational Therapy
schools throughout the US. Abigail (18) is a recent high school grad. She is the kindest person on the planet, a beautiful writer, a hard worker and in the fall will begin studying International Business at the American College of Dublin, Ireland.
Shelly enjoys spending time with her husband and girls, and doing anything outdoors; from skiing, golf and hiking, to making s'mores. She also enjoys reading, travel, cooking, exercising, and attending concerts at Red Rocks.
Your Voice. My Passion.
I am intuitive and listen compassionately. My life experiences enable me to be an advocate and encourage finding one’s voice. I exhibit self-love, self-confidence and self-trust and ask the same from others. I want every soul to know acceptance and worth.
